Terms and Condition 2023

For the retreat:

As a small independent business, every reservation is crucial to us and we invest a lot of effort, care, and resources into organizing our retreats. We offer some flexible options to any changed and cancellations in advance to ensure that everything runs smoothly, so it's essential that you carefully review and accept our terms and conditions before making a booking. By booking your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions stated on this page. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Reservation Payment: To secure your reservation, we require you book directly through the website by selecting “book retreat”. The full payment must be submitted by check out. We accept payment through various methods, such as credit cards, apple pay, or PayPal. Please note that any taxes, additional fees, or charges related to the payment method are your responsibility.

Payment Plan: If you wish to pay in installments, we offer payment plans through Afterpay with zero interest (available during checkout). This is the only option of payment plans we can offer at the moment.

Change and Cancellations: We understand that plans can change, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, any changes or cancellations must be communicated to us in writing, and will be subject to our approval. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us to allow for openings on the waitlist.

  • Cancellations made before 30 days before the start of the retreat will receive a full refund, minus a 30% non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made between 30-15 days before the start of the retreat will receive a 50% refund, minus the 30%non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the retreat will not be eligible for a refund.

It's important to note that this policy is strictly enforced to ensure that we can cover the cost of organizing the retreat while also being fair to participants attending the retreat. Additionally, you may consider an option to transfer the reservation to another person, friend, or a future retreat as an alternative to a refund. To transfer towards another retreat must be used within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability, or towards a stay at Casa Magda.

COVID Policy: We take the health and safety of our guests very seriously, and we follow all local and national guidelines regarding COVID-19. However, please be aware that the situation is constantly evolving, and we may have to change our policies and procedures at short notice. If you or anyone in your party is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend the retreat, and contact us immediately. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask you to leave the retreat if we believe that you pose a risk to the health and safety of others.

Risk Acknowledgment Policy: Unanticipated circumstances may arise, causing the need to cancel your retreat. Therefore, we urge you to familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy, which covers unexpected events, including COVID-19 and other illnesses. Furthermore, please understand that by participating in retreat activities such as classes, hikes, and workshops, you assume all associated risks. It is your responsibility to assess which movements, exercises, and excursions are appropriate for your level of fitness and experience, as well as your mental well-being.

No exceptions: Due to non-recoverable deposit payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat, exceptions to our policies cannot be made for any reason, including positive tests due to COVID-19 or other health conditions, family or work emergencies, bad weather, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather circumstances, and or missed, delayed or canceled flights, bus, car issues, the retreat fees remain non-refundable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.

Our Rights: We reserve the right to cancel or modify any retreat for any reason, including but not limited to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a retreat, we will offer you the option to transfer your deposit to another retreat within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability, or to receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates our policies or poses a risk to the health and safety of others.

Additional Notes

  • Our goal for this retreat is to encourage presence and allow you to disconnect from your devices. To promote this, we will not allow any office work during the retreat.

  • We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any dogs or pets with you to the retreat to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

  • Please note that transportation is not included in the retreat package, but we can help arrange carpooling and pick up at the Windham Bus Stop. We are also happy to offer suggestions and recommendations for transportation options in the area. Please view options here.

  • We want you to have the freedom to tailor your retreat experience to your liking as all activities are entirely optional. If you feel the need to step away and take some time for yourself, feel free to do so during the retreat.

  • Before arriving, we kindly ask that you review Casa Magda’s house policy and general rules to ensure a pleasant and smooth retreat experience.

Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling fees or any other additional charges.

Orders: Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting us directly. We reserve the right to reject any order at any time, for any reason.

Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase, unless prior arrangements have been made with us. We accept credit card payments and PayPal.

Shipping: We ship within the United States and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that customs fees and taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery: We strive to ship all orders within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. Delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected and the destination. We are not responsible for any delays or damages caused by the shipping carrier.

Returns and Exchanges: We do not accept returns or exchanges on our body oil products due to the nature of the product. However, if there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Disclaimer: Our body oil products are intended for external use only. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions or injuries caused by the use of our products. Please consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

Intellectual Property: All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of our company and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of any content on our website is strictly prohibited.
